SATTAHIP, THAILAND - 190530-N-SB587-1166 SATTAHIP, Thailand (May 30, 2019) U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Todd Hutchins, staff judge advocate assigned to Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific, and Royal Thai Navy Capt. Yuthanavi Mungthanya, commanding officer of HTMS Bandpakong (FFG 456), participate in a maritime domain awareness seminar during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2019. During the seminar, participants discussed international maritime laws and their impact on how nations operate in the region. This year marks the 25th iteration of CARAT, a multinational exercise series designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies' abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
