MTCS(SS) Paul Ross Workman

Senior Chief Petty Officer, Paul Workman, a native of San Diego, Calif., began his military career in 2002, when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of the Missile Technician Pipeline in 2003, at Kings Bay, Ga., he reported to his first command aboard the USS Alaska Blue Crew (SSBN 732). He rose through the ranks serving aboard USS Ohio Gold Crew (SSBN 726), and USS Texas (SSN 775).  In 2020, he was promoted to Senior Chief.  

His shore assignments include Naval Ordinance Test Unit in Cape Canaveral, Florida; Naval Personnel Command in Millington, Tennessee and Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific in San Diego, California.

His personal awards include Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards). He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 267 (Gold Group).
