Housing

Navy Region Singapore manages housing for the entire Sembawang military community. Military community housing is leased from the Singapore Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). All COMLOG WESTPAC personnel will reside in this leased housing, unless specifically authorized by the Commander to reside on the local economy. 

Sembawang military community housing is generally of four varieties:

Temporary Lodging Facility (TLF)

The Sling Inn is operated by Navy Region Singapore and is located within Sembawang Place. There are two and three bedroom fully furnished apartments. They have a multisystem color television and the kitchens are completely furnished with a refrigerator, gas top range, microwave/convection oven, pots, pans and table settings for six. Irons (220 volts) and ironing boards are available in each apartment. Each apartment complex has laundry facilities.

We recommend that you send an express shipment with linens, kitchen wares, toys, etc. A limited amount of loaner furniture and dish packs are available. You will require these items if your permanent Housing becomes available before your household goods arrive or if your stay in TLF is extended while awaiting Housing.
