Command Religious Program

Mission

The mission of the Command Religious Program is to support all US military personnel, DOD, State Department, and Foreign Military Communities in Singapore by providing and facilitating religious ministry, by caring for all, and by providing timely, cost-effective spiritual readiness opportunities to meet spiritual, family and moral requirements.

Counseling

Confidential counseling is provided for religious, personal, or work related needs. Call for an appointment or come by the Chaplain’s office in building 7-4.

Religious Services

Protestant Sunday Worship: 9 a.m.

Catholic Sunday Mass: 11 a.m.

Services are held at St Andrew’s Community Chapel, located at 487- 2 Pakistan Road (corner of Admiralty Rd East and Pakistan Road).

St. Andrew's Community Chapel

St Andrew’s Community Chapel is a beautiful and historic building. It has a center isle, multimedia capabilities, PA system and a piano. Use of the St Andrew’s Community Chapel for weddings, funerals, or other events must be approved by the Staff Chaplain. Use of the chapel for an event must follow usage guidelines and requires a reservation at least three months prior to the event.

 Community Relations Projects

As a part of the Navy’s Theater Security Initiative and in an effort to promote goodwill between American service members and Singapore, COMLOG WESTPAC coordinates and supervises Community Service  Projects with a host of organizations throughout the island. For more information about arranging a Community Service Project(s) for your unit, contact the Chaplain’s Office.  Additional guidance is available here.

Project Handclasp

Project Handclasp is a part of the U.S. Navy’s overseas people-to-people program, where U.S. service members deliver donated materials to towns and villages in foreign countries. Project Handclasp's mission is to promote mutual understanding, respect and goodwill between American service members and citizens of other countries.
